I will go on detail about it in one of the newsletters, but long story short: I always wanted to do a B&W book (tried to do Man Plus like that); Bendis was seeing my stuff in B&W first (particularly my original, not yet published work) and fell in love with it; Bendis suggested it first for this book and I immediately said yes.
I did not know the story about Kim Jung Gi’s art. For eff’s sake!!!
