In the light of recent Trump & Musk duo accelerating lunacy, I just came back to this post's comments' section to express opposition to the "Trump presidency (...) could be just the shock needed to prevent the EU from falling into a long, and possibly terminal, decline." opinion. I mean when you read Watchmen, at the end did you think Ozymandias was a great guy who did the right thing too?
If that is your takeaway, you either didn't read the article and/or my note regarding the title or you didn't understand it. The article is about the EU and its stagnation and how it needs to reshape it. The author has a long history of writing about the need for EU to gain independence and initiative. The current political moment just makes it more pressing. Trump's election is out of European hands. Our response to it, however, is not.
I’m not denying problems that EU has. I don’t judge that article just by its title like you noted, but what else is its core idea than the sentence from its conclusion I quoted in my previous comment?
This looks terrific!
Thanks Nathaniel!
Beautiful
The line work you do is so fine.
Much appreciated, Alexander.
O teu trabalho é lindo!
I love the cover, and I am very happy to see this kind of work with such a Portuguese flavour!
Obrigado!
What a great cover!
Thanks!
Very nice piece André!
Thank you, Kristof!
